Baby Emma, the
younger sister of one of our Sherwood Heights Students –
Erin Mills Campus, is relying on our help. The parents, Mr.
& Mrs. Nucifora, are presently still waiting for some
test results from The Hospital for Sick Children; however,
Emma will require a bone marrow transplant to treat her disease
(Myelodysplasa / leukemia). To learn more about bone marrow
transplants or how to screen yourself to become a bone marrow
donor, please visit the Canadian Blood Services website www.onematch.ca.
It is our hope
that with the collective efforts of our community, Emma will
be able to beat this disease.
Thank you.
