Hi, I'm in Grade 8 and my name is Patricia. I did my web page on Mozart. The reason why I chose Mozart was because I found that he was an interesting person. Back then you would not see a famous composer in debt. I hope that you enjoy my web page.

Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756, in Salzburg Austria, to Lepold and Anna Maria Mozart. Mozart had one sister that was older then him, by the name of Nannerl. Both Mozart and his sister were very talented just like their father, and they both played for Kings and Queens. When Mozart was three, he started to perform and only two years later he was composing music. At the age of six, he knew how to play the calvier, violin, and organ. He also composed five short pieces(which are still being played today.)
Around the age of fourteen, Mozart was appointed concertmaster to the Archbishop of Salzburg. That same year, he composed an opera now known as Mitridate, re di ponto 1770 . This opera confirmed his already amazing reputation.
Mozart's friend had four daughters and Mozart fell in love with Aloysia. When his father found out about her, he was forbidden to be with her. At that time he was in Paris and only composed three operas. At the age of twenty-six, Mozart married his true love's younger sister, Constance, and together they had one child by the name of Karl. Money was hard to find for this family because Mozart wasn't paid much to play, and when he did get money he would go to the local bar and spend all of it on beer. Living on medicine and barely sleeping, Mozart wrote his last opera, The Magic Flute . After that he started to write Requiem . That song would not be completed, but, what he did write was played at his funeral.
Mozart died on December 5, 1791, fifty-five minutes past midnight. Kings and other famous people who loved Mozart lost interest in him in his final years.
